De nieuwe Specialized Rockhopper

Voor MY21 heeft Specialized de al toonaangevende Rockhopper terug naar de tekentafel gebracht. We herkenden de sterke concurrentie in de categorie en kwamen terug met een ” knock-out punch” , waarbij Specialized geen middel ongebruikt liet om een gloednieuwe Rockhopper te leveren die een aantal echt indrukwekkende eigenschappen heeft om ervoor te zorgen dat mountainbikers op elk niveau de beste prestaties en waarde kunnen verwachten.

Starting from the frame up, Specialized baked in value and dialed up performance every step of the way—all while keeping a laser focus on ride-quality.

An all-new A1 Premium Alloy Frame featuring butted tubing shaves weight while offering internal cable routing, dropper post compatibility and precise XC-inspired handling—not to mention a service-course-friendly threaded bottom bracket. And not to worry, for Rockhoppers destined for urban environments, the frame features stealth rack and kickstand mounts. Who says aesthetics and practicality are mutually exclusive?

In another first for Rockhopper, we’ve introduced wheel-size specific sizing
with the goal of making sure that Rockhopper offers both the best fit and best performance for every rider, no matter their measure. By pairing each Rockhopper frame size with the optimal wheel size, you get a Rockhopper to fit every rider and the assurance that every Rockhopper is rolling on the best-handling wheel for its frame size.

This now means that the Pitch and Rockhopper of old have merged to become one game-changing platform with 26-, 27.5- and 29-inch wheel sizes, dependent on frame size. As a result, Rockhopper is now available in more sizes than ever— nine, to be exact—ranging from XXS to XXL.

In another nod to versatility, Rockhopper is now available with 1×12, 1×10, 1×9, 2×9 and 2×8 drivetrains to bring the most modern mountain bike performance that fits every rider’s needs and budget.
