Kevin Langeree stelt zijn 1ste plaats veilig in de PKRA World rankings

Defending World Champion kiteboarder, Kevin Langeree took first place at the Essaouira Kiteboard World Cup on the weekend cementing his position at the top of the PKRA World rankings.

‘Going into the Morocco event I was feeling good and for me that is one of the most important ingredients to win,’ said Kevin. ‘Being number one is a great feeling and a feeling that I want to have as much as possible.’

Following his World Champion title last season, Kevin won the first event of the 2010 season in Thailand, and then followed this up with a 4th place in France and a second place finish in Cabarete.

But the Dutch O’Neill rider is now firmly back on top – where he is very much used to being.

‘I love the feeling of winning. It’s really addictive. But it’s different this season defending my title. Everyone that rides against you has nothing to lose so I have to be careful and not underestimate anyone,’ he said.

The next stop on the PKRA World Tour is in Germany on July 17th.
