KTM Life Lontano voor wereldreiziger Niko Krauland

KTM Bike Industries introduceerde tijdens Eurobike 2014 de KTM Life Lontano.

“As time goes by I’m getting more and more nervous“, says Niko Krauland as his big trip comes closer. In January Niko, who has studied sports and geography, will start his world tour, always moving eastwards. Three years ago he started thinking about traveling the world and since last year he has been making concrete plans. “And suddenly KTM builds the perfect bike“, tells Niko with a smile.

KTM Head of Development Thomas Pressl, himself a passionate cyclist, had the idea to build the bike. He made a concept that fits perfectly to the demands of a long travel: enough space for the luggage, 29“ wheels, a comfortable geometry with Brooks saddle and many more features. A perfect match for Niko Krauland’s plans.

“I’m planning to take 140 litres of luggage with me and I’m happy that I found a reliable partner like KTM – a company that has more than 50 years experience in building trekking bikes“, explains Krauland. He has planned to travel 18 months.
