Mick Fanning nog 5 jaar extra bij Rip Curl

De tweemalig ASP World Champion Mick Fanning heeft voor nog vijf jaar bij getekend bij zijn sponsor Rip Curl. Rip Curl is al viertien jaar de sponsor van Mick Fanning  en zijn dan ook blij hem nog vijf jaar bij hun te hebben.

“Mick is our number one guy. He’s part of our crew and we love him. There was never any doubt we’d have another five years together. Stoked.” Aldus Marketing manager Neil Ridgway van Rip Curl.

Mick Fanning deelt het enthousiasme van zijn sponsor.

“Maintaining my relationship with Rip Curl means a lot to me. We’ve been through so much together since I signed with them when I was just 16,” vertelt Mick Fanning.

“Working with Rip Curl has brought me some competitive success,” aldus Mick Fanning, “and I’m confident that with their support there will be more good times in the future. The most exciting thing about staying with Rip Curl is some of the projects we have planned together for the future. Rip Curl have shared their vision with me and it’s something I want to be apart of.”

Helaas is Mick Fanning voor de Quiksilver Gold Coast Pro al uitgeschakeld maar dit betekent natuurlijk niet dat hij geen kans meer maakt op de ASP World Title. Zie onderstaande video om te zien dat Mick Fanning zeker weten een kanshebber blijft voor de ASP World Title.
