Burton krijgt versterking

Werner ‘Werni’ Stock uit Oostenrijk is de nieuwe aanwinst van het Burton en RED team. I’m stoked to be a part of Burton and their great team! ‘This step is a huge one for my future!’ aldus Werner Stock.

– INNSBRUCK, Austria’s Werni Stock is the latest addition to the Burton and RED Team. 23 year old Werni, a Zillertal native based in Tux (AUT), is no stranger to the scene. He started into the season with a 6th rank at the Beijing Air & Style, and kicked off the 2011 with a 2nd place at the TTR Big Air in Stuttgart (GER), followed by a filming trip to Japan with the Pirates Crew. Now he is back in Austria getting ready for this huge home-event, the Air & Style in Innsbruck.

He can probably be best described as a humble person with a super positive attitude, who definitely is progressive on his snowboard. Werni is focusing on Park and backcountry riding. Every trick he does Werni puts his unique style to it.

Werni says: ‘This change is a big one for me and it means a lot to ride for the company who is pushing Snowboarding since the very beginning. I’m stoked to be a part of Burton and their great team! This step is a huge one for my future!’

His new team buddies gave him a warm welcome already and are happy to have him on the team!

Watch out for Werni at this weekend’s Air & Style in Innsbruck. A big event for him in front of his local home-crowd!
